Help file said to make sure I'm using Flash v. 7, I've got v. 10 installed - maybe the Beaterator hasn't been upgraded to work w/ v. 10 - ? Anyway, it looks cool, I agree w/ you, it's another step forward as far as challenging students to create their own loops, & then being able to use them in the sequencer/interface (whatever you want to call it). Would love to try it w/ my students on the Smt Brd, which I think would be necessary to use - why are some of these Flash tools made w/ such little tiny buttons, words, etc.? By the way, have you seen the commercial MS had out for Songsmith? Just deadly, truly cringe-worthy. Another big FAIL for MS, both in product design AND marketing.
